Research and Development

The research output of any university is of the yardstick for determining its seriousness commitment to its academic and research activities RGUHS being the premier health sciences university encouraging research among its affiliated institutions. RGUHS with an intention to catalyse the research activity established a separate R&D department to co-ordinate facilitate, monitor and regulate various research initiatives in the affiliated institutions. R&D department align the research activity with the Ph.D degree and monitor, regulate the research activities, rigorous evaluation of the Ph.D studies by making its mandatory for students to submit synopsis and thesis. Thus, submitted synopsis and dissertation are evaluated by R&D department through internal and external experts in the field.

Further to encourage the innovative ideas and research among the students and faculty R&D department award following categories of research grants.
