Engineering

The Engineering Department is responsible for the planning, execution, and maintenance of all infrastructure projects within the university campuses. Its key responsibilities include preparing and reviewing building plans, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and supervising the construction of academic blocks, hospitals, hostels, laboratories, and other facilities. The department manages tendering processes, vendor selection, and cost estimation to ensure projects are completed within budget and timelines. It also oversees campus development works such as roads, water supply, sewage systems, power distribution, and landscaping. In addition to new projects, the department handles renovation, structural repairs, and preventive maintenance of existing facilities to ensure a safe, sustainable, and functional environment for students, faculty, patients, and staff. By coordinating with architects, contractors, and government agencies, the Engineering Department plays a crucial role in shaping and maintaining the physical infrastructure of the university.
