Unani System of Medicine has a long and impressive record in India. Introduced to India several thousands of years ago by Persian and Urdu scholars, it has not only catered to the medical needs of millions of people, but also has gained an important place amongst the various systems of Medicine. The University has taken an initiative to promote growth and development of Unani Medicine by undertaking research in various subjects of Unani Medicine and provide training in teaching and research at P.G. level.
