Authority

The Authority Section is responsible for coordinating and facilitating the statutory and administrative functions of the institution’s governing bodies, such as the Senate, Syndicate, Academic Council, and other statutory committees. Its primary role is to ensure smooth conduct of meetings, preparation and circulation of agendas, drafting and recording of minutes, and implementation of resolutions passed by these authorities. The section also handles statutory notifications, approvals of academic and administrative policies, and communication between the university administration and various departments. By maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with university statutes, and supporting decision-making processes, the Authority Section plays a vital role in upholding transparency, accountability, and effective governance within the university.
